A little bit about...

I'm Sarah, and I’m lucky enough to call myself the owner of The Petal Shop. 

Based in my home studio here in Lymm, for the last 7 years I have been busily creating a whole array of floral pieces for weddings and events, as well as hosting workshops and creating individual bespoke seasonal pieces.

Perhaps the best way to describe my floral style is ‘unstructured’. My floral designs have to flow, but in their own right. Flowers are a natural symbol of love, hope and beauty, with the most incredible power of expression and meaning. It is such an honour to be able to work in this area, where I put my heart and soul into every creation.

Using fresh, dried and sometimes silk pieces, our beautiful planet is always at the forefront of my mind. I will always strive to use locally sourced florals where possible, and biodegradable or recyclable materials to minimise the use of plastics. I am constantly developing new ways to ensure my floristry works with the planet and towards a better future eco-conscious floristry.
